About The Artist

Singer-Songwriter Taylor Harris better known as Taylor_Avonte' infuses smooth R&B vocals with a Hip Hop rhythm - creating an inspiring sound that's hard not to fall in love with.

Background

Born and Raised in Baltimore, MD - home of the legendary R&B Group Dru Hill, Taylor_Avonte' passion for music come from the singing sensation group "Destiny's Child" and she identifies most with the lead singer Beyoncé.

Taylor_Avonte' took a liking to singing at the age of 3 and began to take it seriously her freshman year in high school when she was first introduced to the studio scene. It was at that moment that she realized it was a passion of hers.

Education & Live Performances

Taylor_Avonte' was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and completed her bachelors’ studies at Morgan State University (Spring 2021) Taylor has now turned her focus to building her music career. Known for her smooth, soulful and powerful voice that some say send chills up spins. Taylors biggest influences and Etta James, Jennifer Hudson and Jhene Akio to name a few. Taylor has recently opened up for the R&B Group 112 and J. Holiday at Club Karma in Washington, DC.
